The infamous Chanel x Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals NMD Hu Trails collaboration dropped on the Parisian boutique department store Colette's website for £1,000 ($1,800 AUD) late November last year.
With only 500 pairs available worldwide, they are now estimated to go from $10,000 to $20,000 AUD depending on the size it is. The seller of these sneakers are asking for $15,000 AUD.
This is the first time Chanel has gone down the streetwear / sneaker route.
These sneakers have been highly coveted, with many pairs off the market since they are such a collectible. Most sneakerheads are keeping onto their pairs in hopes that the market price may double to triple within the next few years...
What an investment!
Here's a photo of Pharrell wearing his personal pair at the launch party at Collette. This party was attended by the likes of Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld, Justin Timberlake, graffiti artist and designer Futura 2000, and others.
