ASICS Gel-Kinetic Fluent Black Gold redefines contemporary sneaker design in 2025 by fusing ASICS’ storied running heritage with modern sportstyle innovation. Arriving in a striking black and gold palette, this silhouette stands out as a premium lifestyle shoe that’s as functional as it is fashionable. Rooted in performance DNA yet tailored for everyday wear, the Gel‑Kinetic Fluent blends technical cushioning technologies with archival design cues, offering comfort and visual impact in equal measure.
Overview
The Gel‑Kinetic Fluent silhouette draws direct inspiration from ASICS’ running models of the 2010s, reinterpreting technical elements such as welded eyelets and layered paneling into a sleek streetwear‑ready form. The Black Gold colorway amplifies this design with deep black tones contrasted by metallic gold accents that punctuate details like logos and midsole elements, creating a luxe yet athletic aesthetic. Underfoot, the midsole combines ASICS’ advanced FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning with Scutoid GEL™ technology, engineered to absorb impact and provide responsive comfort suited for prolonged wear across urban landscapes. Structural stability is enhanced by the TRUSSTIC® support system, while the low‑cut silhouette and lace‑up closure ensure a secure fit for daily activities.
Key Highlights
• Heritage‑Driven Aesthetic: Inspired by 2010s ASICS running shoes, blending archival design with modern materials for a distinctive sportstyle look.
• Advanced Cushioning Technologies: Combines Scutoid GEL™ and FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO midsoles for optimized impact absorption, lightweight comfort, and energy return.
• Eye‑Catching Black & Gold Palette: Elegant black base contrasted with metallic gold accents for a premium look that elevates both casual and athleisure outfits.
