The Nike A’One EP ‘#1 Draft Pick’ Women’s (2025) encapsulates one of the most pivotal moments in A’ja Wilson’s storied basketball journey with Nike’s next‑generation A’One signature line. Building on Wilson’s status as a two‑time WNBA MVP and former No. 1 overall pick, this colorway translates her iconic draft night aesthetic into a performance‑ready basketball shoe and lifestyle staple. With a carefully curated palette of prisms and perfect pink hues layered over a white mesh foundation, Nike infuses femininity and power into the silhouette, celebrating both achievement and athletic excellence.
Overview
Released on August 8, 2025, the Nike A’One EP ‘#1 Draft Pick’ (style code FZ8605‑101) honors Wilson’s historic selection as the top pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft, bringing personal narrative and polished design to the forefront. The sneaker’s gradient pink and off‑white upper is complemented by crisp white overlays and metallic pink accents that frame the Swoosh logos and branding details, delivering a refined, celebratory aesthetic. Wilson’s signature appears on the heel and tongue, while the sculptural midsole design—with its translucent pink window and supportive cushioning—balances on‑court performance with off‑court versatility. Designed with Cushlon‑based foam for responsive energy return and breathable mesh for agile play, the A’One EP stands as both a tribute and a functional evolution in women’s basketball footwear.
