The Nike Terminator High 'Cocoa Snake' (2022) revisits one of Nike’s most recognizable basketball silhouettes with a refined, textured update rooted in vintage sportswear heritage. Originally introduced in 1985 as a performance basketball shoe, the Nike Terminator has experienced a strong resurgence through carefully curated retro releases and premium reinterpretations. The 'Cocoa Snake' edition from 2022 stands out by combining classic color blocking with exotic-inspired detailing, delivering a lifestyle-focused execution that balances retro authenticity with contemporary streetwear appeal. Featuring elevated materials and understated earth-tone contrasts, this release captures the growing demand for archival Nike silhouettes while maintaining the bold high-top structure that made the Terminator a staple of collegiate basketball culture.
Overview
Constructed with a crisp white leather base, the sneaker is complemented by rich brown overlays dressed in a textured faux snakeskin finish that gives the 'Cocoa Snake' its distinctive identity. The signature oversized Nike branding on the heel remains intact, reinforcing the model’s vintage DNA, while traditional perforations on the toe box preserve breathability and classic basketball styling. Brown Swooshes blend seamlessly into the layered upper, supported by matching laces and lining for a cohesive tonal aesthetic. A sail-toned midsole introduces an aged, retro-inspired appearance that aligns with Nike’s continued emphasis on heritage design language. Underfoot, the durable rubber outsole provides dependable traction while maintaining the original structure of the iconic Terminator High silhouette. Authenticity is guaranteed with PUSHAS, where every pair is meticulously authenticated by our team of experts.
