Description

The Nike Dunk High SP 'Pure Platinum' (2020) marked the return of one of Nike's most celebrated basketball silhouettes in its original high-top form, arriving during the Dunk's highly successful resurgence in 2020. Drawing inspiration from the clean, two-tone aesthetic that defined many of the earliest Nike Dunk releases from 1985, this edition embraces a minimalist approach with premium materials and timeless colour blocking. The understated combination of white and Pure Platinum allows the iconic Dunk High design to take centre stage, making it a versatile sneaker equally suited to everyday wear and serious collections. With its heritage basketball roots and enduring streetwear appeal, the Nike Dunk High SP 'Pure Platinum' remains a standout example of how simplicity can create lasting influence.

Overview
Constructed with a premium leather upper, the Nike Dunk High SP 'Pure Platinum' features a crisp white base complemented by soft Pure Platinum overlays across the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and signature Swoosh. Matching white laces and a padded nylon tongue deliver the classic feel of the original Dunk High, while woven Nike branding on the tongue stays true to the silhouette's vintage heritage. A traditional perforated toe box enhances breathability, and the durable rubber cupsole houses lightweight foam cushioning for everyday comfort. Underfoot, a Pure Platinum rubber outsole provides reliable traction while completing the clean monochromatic aesthetic. The result is a refined, understated colourway that highlights the Dunk High's iconic proportions without relying on bold graphics or collaborations. Authenticity is guaranteed with PUSHAS, where every pair is meticulously authenticated by our team of experts.

Key Highlights

  • Classic Two-Tone Colour Blocking: A clean combination of white leather and Pure Platinum overlays delivers a timeless look inspired by the Dunk's original design language.
  • Premium Leather Construction: High-quality leather throughout the upper provides durability, structure, and a premium finish that develops character over time.
  • Authentic Nike Dunk High Heritage: Retains the iconic high-top silhouette, padded collar, perforated toe box, and durable rubber cupsole that have defined the Nike Dunk since its debut.
