The ASICS Gel‑Quantum 360 I CM ‘Aquarium/Safety Yellow’ stands as a defining example of ASICS’s early foray into full‑length GEL cushioning, blending cutting‑edge comfort technology with a distinctive, vibrant colorway. First appearing in the mid‑2010s as part of the Gel‑Quantum 360 CM line — a variation of the original Gel‑Quantum 360 that featured prominent 360‑degree GEL technology enveloping the sole for maximum shock absorption — this iteration pairs functional innovation with lifestyle appeal.
Overview
This ‘Aquarium/Safety Yellow’ colorway juxtaposes a dynamic deep aqua‑toned upper with electrifying safety yellow accents, creating a bold and eye‑catching aesthetic that transcends mere athletic utility. Designed as a lifestyle sneaker with performance roots, the Gel‑Quantum 360 I CM incorporates a jacquard mesh or engineered mesh upper for enhanced breathability and a secure fit, while the external heel counter adds structural support. At its core, the shoe’s hallmark 360° GEL midsole technology delivers plush, all‑around cushioning that absorbs impact with every step, making it suitable for extended wear beyond running. Complemented by TRUSSTIC support elements and a rubber outsole for reliable grip, this model appeals to both collectors and those seeking advanced comfort in daily footwear.
Key Highlights
360° GEL Cushioning: Full‑length GEL midsole technology envelops the foot in responsive shock absorption for unmatched comfort underfoot.
Vibrant ‘Aquarium/Safety Yellow’ Palette: Striking color contrast that enhances streetwear versatility while reflecting ASICS’s adventurous design ethos.
Technical Upper Construction: Breathable mesh with supportive external heel counter and TRUSSTIC elements provide stability and airflow, balancing performance and everyday wearability.
