ASICS Gel Sonoma TR62 in Concrete Obsidian Grey redefines versatile footwear by seamlessly blending rugged trail performance with modern lifestyle appeal. Rooted in ASICS’ heritage of trail innovation, the GEL‑SONOMA TR62 is engineered for “everyday exploration,” whether you’re navigating city streets or heading into nature. This unisex sportstyle shoe draws from a lineage of iconic outdoor runners — including the GEL‑TREKKER™, GEL‑KAHANA™ 6 and GEL‑EAGLETRAIL models — and updates that DNA for a contemporary and functional silhouette that’s ready for both daily wear and off‑road adventure.
Overview
Designed with a focus on cushioning, grip, and everyday comfort, the GEL‑SONOMA TR62 takes the best elements of ASICS’ trail archives and makes them accessible for a broader range of activities. Its upper blends synthetic leather, synthetic fibers and genuine leather for durability and breathability while maintaining a sleek, modern look in subdued Concrete Obsidian Grey tones. The midsole features ASICS’ time‑tested GEL technology, delivering responsive shock absorption that keeps feet comfortable during long days on varied terrain. An advanced outsole with multi‑directional lugs enhances traction on both paved and unpaved surfaces, making this shoe equally at home on a nature trail or in urban settings. Thanks to its balanced design and functional performance, the GEL‑SONOMA TR62 exemplifies a hybrid approach to footwear that doesn’t compromise on comfort or style.
Key Highlights
• Trail‑Inspired Yet Urban Ready: Draws design and performance cues from classic ASICS trail models like the GEL‑TREKKER™ and GEL‑KAHANA™ 6, adapted for everyday wear.
• Advanced Cushioning Technology: ASICS’ GEL cushioning system in the midsole provides responsive impact absorption for extended comfort across diverse environments.
• Durable Multi‑Material Upper Construction: Combines synthetic leather, synthetic fibers and natural leather for a supportive, breathable fit that stands up to urban and outdoor use.
