The Nike x NOCTA Sunset Puffer Jacket 'Black' (2020) marks a defining entry in the collaborative lineage between Nike and Drake’s NOCTA sub-label, reflecting a fusion of functional outerwear with street-savvy sensibility. Released as part of the inaugural NOCTA drop in December 2020, the 'Black' puffer is a visual representation of the Toronto rapper’s aesthetic: minimalist, performance-ready, and rooted in urban culture.
Overview
The Sunset Puffer Jacket arrives in a sleek black colorway, engineered with a water-repellent nylon shell that prioritizes both weather resistance and aesthetic precision. Its silhouette is sharply structured with horizontal quilted baffles that hold insulating synthetic fill for optimal warmth. Subtle NOCTA branding appears on the left chest and back hem, while reflective piping across the chest and sleeves enhances visibility in low light—mirroring the “nocturnal” theme embedded in the label’s identity. The jacket includes a full-zip closure with storm flap protection, zipped hand pockets, and an interior stash pocket, all designed with both functionality and movement in mind. From streetwear enthusiasts to performance-focused wearers, the NOCTA Sunset Puffer encapsulates utility without compromising style.
Key Highlights
• Official NOCTA Debut Collection Piece: Released in December 2020 as part of the first Nike x NOCTA capsule, representing Drake’s vision of streetwear-meets-performance.
• Water-Repellent Nylon Exterior: Built to withstand winter conditions while maintaining a sleek, clean profile.
• Reflective Detailing for Night Visibility: Reflective accents align with NOCTA’s “nighttime uniform” philosophy, enhancing both safety and style.
