The adidas Ultra Boost 20 Core Black Night Metallic epitomizes adidas’ mastery in fusing elite performance engineering with understated style. Unveiled in December 2019 as part of the Ultra Boost 20 lineup, this silhouette carries forward the flagship running series’ reputation for industry‑leading comfort and responsiveness, all while embracing a sleek and versatile colorway that transcends the gym to everyday wear. The Core Black and Night Metallic palette offers a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic that complements the shoe’s advanced technical attributes — a testament to adidas’ commitment to purposeful design rooted in performance and heritage.
Overview
Crafted on an adidas Ultra Boost 20 platform, the sneaker features a full Primeknit upper engineered for adaptive support and a sock‑like fit, ensuring breathability and secure lockdown through every step. The signature Boost midsole — a proprietary thermoplastic urethane (TPU) technology developed in collaboration with BASF — delivers industry‑leading energy return and cushioning, elevating comfort for all‑day wear or long‑distance runs. Complemented by a rubber outsole that enhances traction and durability, and a supportive lacing system with iconic 3‑Stripes branding in Night Metallic, the shoe retains a performance‑driven build while remaining true to lifestyle versatility. This blend of technical innovation and aesthetic restraint makes it a cornerstone for both runners and sneaker enthusiasts alike.
