The Nike Dunk High 'AMBUSH Deep Royal' (2021) represents one of the most distinctive collaborations in the modern era of Nike Sportswear. Designed in partnership with Tokyo-based fashion label AMBUSH and its co-founder Yoon Ahn, this elevated interpretation of the Nike Dunk High reimagines the classic basketball silhouette through a contemporary fashion lens. Originally unveiled as part of AMBUSH's exploration of Japanese motorcycle, car and truck culture, the sneaker blends exaggerated proportions with heritage basketball design, creating a bold and instantly recognisable statement piece. The 'Deep Royal' colourway further amplifies the collaboration's impact by pairing vibrant blue overlays with crisp white underlays and striking black accents.
Overview
Constructed with a premium leather upper, the Nike Dunk High 'AMBUSH Deep Royal' (2021) features white leather underlays contrasted by Deep Royal Blue overlays across the mudguard, eyestays, heel and collar. The collaboration's defining feature is its elongated black Swoosh, which extends beyond the heel and delivers a dramatic, forward-looking aesthetic. Additional AMBUSH branding appears on the tongue tag and heel, while an exposed foam tongue and raised heel counter contribute to the shoe's fashion-forward design language. A white midsole and Deep Royal rubber outsole complete the look, preserving the Dunk's basketball heritage while introducing a contemporary, runway-inspired edge. Authenticity is guaranteed with PUSHAS, where every pair is meticulously authenticated by our team of experts.
