The Nike Stussy x LD 1000 SP 'Particle Grey' (2024) marks a bold continuation of the collaborative legacy between Nike and streetwear giant Stüssy, breathing new life into a heritage runner with a minimalist yet distinctive aesthetic. This reinterpretation of the LD 1000 silhouette melds retro athletic style with contemporary streetwear sensibilities, reflecting Stüssy's timeless influence on modern fashion.
Overview
Dressed in a "Particle Grey" mesh base, the sneaker is overlaid with tonal suede panels that reinforce its vintage runner roots while providing a refined texture contrast. A stitched black Swoosh sweeps along the sidewalls, offering an understated yet impactful branding element. Co-branded Stüssy and Nike tags appear on the tongue and heel, cementing the partnership’s authentic streetwear pedigree. Underfoot, a cream-colored foam midsole, true to the LD 1000’s original tooling, delivers lightweight cushioning with a vintage appeal, while a black waffle outsole ensures grip and durability. Minimalist yet iconic, the design emphasizes breathable comfort and versatility, making it an essential addition for collectors and everyday wearers alike.
Key Highlights
• Heritage LD 1000 Silhouette: Revives Nike’s classic 1970s runner with modern updates curated by Stüssy.
• Refined 'Particle Grey' Colorway: Features a breathable mesh upper with tonal suede overlays for texture and depth.
• Signature Stüssy Co-Branding: Tongue tags and heel branding highlight the authentic collaboration between Nike and Stüssy.
