The Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Next Chapter' (DV1748-601) is the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse edition of the Air Jordan 1, the pair worn by Miles Morales in the film. Released on 20 May 2023, it reworks the Chicago colour blocking with multiverse-inspired graphics and mixed materials.
Overview
Jordan Brand made the Air Jordan 1 Spider-Verse 'Next Chapter' with Marvel to mark the June 2023 cinema release of Across the Spider-Verse. It follows the 2018 'Origin Story' Air Jordan 1 created for Into the Spider-Verse, and continues Miles Morales' story on the same silhouette.
The upper mixes lustrous leather and soft suede in University Red, Black and White. Black patent leather covers the Swoosh and collar, and geometric shapes and dotted patterns reference Miles moving between dimensions. A translucent red outsole finishes the build in the official University Red/Black-White colourway.
The Next Chapter keeps the Air Jordan 1 High OG shape, so it wears like any Chicago-style AJ1. Pair it with black denim or a varsity jacket, and the Spider-Verse graphics give fans of the films a detail worth showing.
