The ASICS Gel-Kayano 20 'Black Pure Silver' (1203A388-001) is a sportstyle reissue of the twentieth edition of ASICS' long-running Gel-Kayano stability runner. Released on 17 January 2025, it pairs a black mesh base with metallic silver overlays and blue Tiger Stripe accents.
Overview
The Gel-Kayano line began in 1993 and marked its twentieth anniversary in 2013. ASICS has since reissued the Gel-Kayano 20 as a lifestyle shoe, and the Black Pure Silver is one of the darkest and most versatile colourways of the reissue.
Metallic silver overlays wrap a black mesh upper, with black leather on the toecap and eyelets. Black and blue ASICS Tiger Stripes, silver and blue Gel-Kayano 20 branding on the tongue and collar, and silver hits on the heel counter complete the upper. The black, cream and blue midsole houses GEL cushioning, and a black rubber outsole sits underneath.
