The Nike Air Max 90 'Malachite' (2023) reinvigorates a classic silhouette with a bold new colorway, capturing the essence of modern street style while staying true to its heritage. Originally designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1990, the Air Max 90 has become an iconic symbol of Nike's innovation and design prowess. This 2023 edition introduces the striking 'Malachite' colorway, which blends seamlessly with the shoe’s storied history, offering a fresh take on a timeless classic.
Overview
The Nike Air Max 90 'Malachite' features a predominantly white leather base, with synthetic overlays in shades of grey and striking hits of malachite green that add a vibrant contrast. The classic Air Max branding on the tongue, heel, and side panels are also accented in malachite, offering a cohesive look that ties the colorway together. The iconic visible Air unit in the heel, a hallmark of the Air Max series, remains a central design element, providing not just a nod to the shoe’s performance roots but also a statement of style. The shoe is finished with a durable rubber outsole that delivers traction and support, making it as functional as it is fashionable.
Key Highlights
• Striking 'Malachite' Colorway: The bold green accents contrast sharply with the white and grey upper, making this a standout addition to any sneaker collection.
• Classic Air Max 90 Silhouette: Retains the iconic design elements that have made the Air Max 90 a beloved model, including the visible Air unit and layered upper construction.
• High-Quality Materials: Crafted from premium leather and synthetic materials, ensuring durability and comfort for daily wear.
