The Nike Hot Step Air Terra 'Drake NOCTA Snakeskin' (2023) marks one of the most talked‑about collaborative releases from Nike and Drake’s NOCTA label, blending utilitarian design with elevated streetwear aesthetics. Released on May 19, 2023, this edition of the Hot Step Air Terra introduces a distinctive snakeskin‑inspired upper that gives the silhouette a fashion‑forward yet wear‑ready sensibility, reinforcing the model’s place as a contemporary classic in the NOCTA lineup.
Overview
Crafted under style code DR0508‑001, the Nike Hot Step Air Terra Drake NOCTA Snakeskin showcases a textured faux snakeskin upper in a neutral Light Bone/Light Bone‑Cobblestone‑Gum Light Brown palette that seamlessly pairs with a resilient sole unit. Across the full upper and tongue, the snakeskin print delivers a bold visual identity that nods to high‑end fashion while maintaining everyday versatility. Signature NOCTA branding appears prominently on the tongue, accompanied by subtle Nike Swoosh details, while narrow perforations on the quarter panels improve breathability. A white midsole featuring Nike’s Air Sole cushioning provides responsive comfort underfoot, and a gum brown rubber outsole ensures traction and durability for all‑day wear. Practical design elements such as 3M reflective accents and G‑Tek heel branding further elevate the sneaker’s performance functionality.
Key Highlights
• Striking Snakeskin Upper: Full faux snakeskin print across the upper and tongue creates a standout, textured aesthetic in neutral light bone and cobblestone tones.
• Air‑Cushioned Comfort: White midsole houses Nike’s Air Sole unit with a visible bubble at the heel, delivering trusted comfort and impact absorption.
• Durable Gum Outsole: Rugged gum brown rubber outsole offers reliable traction and street‑ready durability.
