ASICS Gel 1130 'Black Pure Silver' 1201A906‑001 delivers updated retro runner style that blends classic ASICS heritage with contemporary streetwear appeal. Rooted in the brand’s ninth GEL-1000 series model, this 2023 colorway channels late-2000s running aesthetics while offering modern comfort and support for everyday wear.
Overview
The ASICS Gel-1130 ‘Black Pure Silver’ reissue honors the original 2008 design that took cues from the GEL-KAYANO® 14, repackaged as a lifestyle sneaker with refined materials and everyday practicality. Featuring a sleek black and metallic silver palette, its upper combines breathable mesh with synthetic leather overlays for durability and visual depth. GEL® technology in the heel delivers reliable cushioning, while the TRUSSTIC® support system enhances midfoot stability — a hallmark of the silhouette’s performance roots. A solid black EVA midsole and patterned rubber outsole round out the build, ensuring traction and all-day comfort.
Key Highlights
• Heritage Inspired Design: Pays homage to the late-2000s GEL-1130 silhouette with stylistic influences from the GEL-KAYANO 14.
• Premium Comfort Technology: Equipped with ASICS GEL® cushioning in the heel for shock absorption and plush underfoot feel.
• Durable Construction: Breathable mesh and synthetic leather overlays provide structure and longevity for daily wear.
