The Nike Air Max Plus TN 'Sequoia Cargo Khaki' (2024) brings a military-inspired update to Sean McDowell’s late-‘90s icon, blending utilitarian tones with the sneaker’s signature aggressive styling. A streetwear staple in Australia and beyond, the TN continues to evolve while staying rooted in its bold design language and visible Air heritage.
Overview
This edition dresses the mesh upper in a deep Sequoia Green base, layered with tonal Cargo Khaki overlays that emphasize the TN’s wavy exoskeleton design. Black accents on the laces, midsole, and lining provide contrast, while subtle hits of yellow on the classic TN badge at the heel and outsole nod to the model’s original DNA. Underfoot, the sneaker retains its Tuned Air cushioning system—delivering responsive comfort and durability that has made the silhouette both a performance and lifestyle mainstay since 1998.
Balancing tactical aesthetics with everyday wearability, the 'Sequoia Cargo Khaki' colorway adds a rugged yet refined twist to one of Nike’s most recognizable Air Max icons.
Key Highlights
Heritage Silhouette: Based on Sean McDowell’s 1998 Air Max Plus design, known for its wavy cage and bold stance.
Tactical Colorway: Sequoia Green and Cargo Khaki tones bring a military-inspired edge, accented by black details.
Tuned Air Cushioning: Retains the signature TN sole unit for lightweight, responsive comfort.
