The Nike Air Rift 'Black' Women's (2025) continues Nike’s legacy of boundary-pushing design with a silhouette that draws inspiration from the brand’s innovative approach to natural motion footwear. Originally introduced in the mid-1990s and inspired by distance runners in Kenya’s Rift Valley, the Air Rift is renowned for its distinctive split-toe construction and minimalist, barefoot-like feel. This all-black women's edition refines that heritage-driven design into a versatile, contemporary lifestyle essential suited for everyday wear.
Overview
The Nike Air Rift 'Black' Women's (2025) features the model’s signature split-toe forefoot, engineered to encourage a more natural stride and grounded feel. Its lightweight upper is designed for breathability and comfort, while adjustable hook-and-loop straps across the midfoot and heel allow for a secure, personalised fit. The streamlined construction is paired with a durable outsole built for traction and flexibility, making it ideal for warm-weather wear and urban styling. Finished in an understated black colourway, this iteration enhances the silhouette’s versatility, allowing it to transition seamlessly across casual and athleisure wardrobes.
Key Highlights
Iconic Split-Toe Design: Signature tabi-inspired construction engineered for a natural, adaptive walking experience
