The Puma Speedcat OG ‘Whisp of Pink White’ (2024) — revives one of PUMA’s most iconic silhouettes with an elevated colorway that blends heritage motorsport DNA with modern lifestyle appeal. A staple since the late 1990s, the Speedcat was originally engineered as a racing shoe designed to shave milliseconds off lap times before evolving into a global streetwear favourite. This 2024 iteration celebrates that legacy with a soft Whisp of Pink suede upper paired with crisp Puma White accents, creating a look that’s both nuanced and statement‑ready for any wardrobe.
Overview
The Puma Speedcat OG ‘Whisp of Pink White’ retains the classic low‑profile silhouette that made the Speedcat a cult favourite among motorsport and sneaker enthusiasts alike. Its premium suede and leather‑accented upper provide a refined texture and visual depth, while the signature Puma Formstrip runs along the sidewalls in crisp white for classic brand recognition. A traditional lace‑up closure ensures a secure, customizable fit, and embroidered Puma Cat branding on the toe and tongue adds authentic detail. Beneath, a lightweight IMEVA midsole delivers responsive cushioning, while the rubber outsole offers durable traction for everyday wear. Whether styled with casual denim or athleisure pieces, this colourway bridges performance heritage with contemporary fashion sensibilities.
Key Highlights
• Motorsport Heritage Design: Inspired by PUMA’s racing legacy, originally crafted as a performance driving shoe.
• Premium Materials: Soft suede upper with leather accents and iconic Puma Formstrip for style and durability.
• Vibrant Colourway: Delicate Whisp of Pink contrasted with Puma White for a distinctive yet versatile aesthetic.
