The Pokémon Santa Cruz Skateboard Deck Blind Bag (2023) brings together two iconic names in pop culture and skateboarding through a distinctive collaboration between Pokémon and Santa Cruz Skateboards. Released on September 13, 2023, this collectible deck series combines the nostalgic appeal of Pokémon with Santa Cruz's established skateboarding heritage. Each sealed blind bag contains one randomly assorted 8-inch skateboard deck featuring artwork of an iconic Pokémon character, making every unboxing an element of surprise. With 20 distinct designs across standard holographic and limited gold foil editions, the collection offers a distinctive addition to both skateboard collections and Pokémon memorabilia.
Overview
The Pokémon x Santa Cruz 2023 collection features 20 different skateboard deck variants, each measuring approximately 8 inches wide by 31.6 inches long. The assortment includes 15 holographic foil editions, showcasing different Pokémon characters against silver prismatic rainbow glitter foil with silver metallic paint accents. Adding another level of collectability, the series also features five special gold foil editions, incorporating black and metallic gold ink over metallic gold foil. Each gold foil variant was produced in a limited quantity of just 50 worldwide, making these particularly sought-after pieces within the collection. Since each blind bag contains one randomly selected design, the specific Pokémon character and finish remain unknown until the bag is opened. Combining collectible character artwork, distinctive foil treatments and Santa Cruz skateboarding design, the Pokémon Santa Cruz Skateboard Deck Blind Bag stands out as a memorable crossover release for fans and collectors alike.
