Corteiz is a streetwear label from West London, founded in 2017 by Clint Ogbenna, known online as Clint419. It built its following in London through its community rather than advertising, and its slogan is Rules The World.

The label's emblem is Alcatraz Island. Clint has explained the idea in interviews: living in society can feel like a prison, and Corteiz is about breaking out of those restraints to do what you really want. The island logo sits at the centre of the brand, on tees, hoodies, cargos and headwear.

How Corteiz Drops Work

Corteiz built its following on scarcity and surprise rather than advertising. Its website is password-protected, with the password shared through social media, and many releases happen in person, with the location revealed only on the day. As a result, pieces rarely last long. Some of those events became part of London streetwear history. In 2023 Corteiz released its collaboration with Nike on the Air Max 95, and launched it the Corteiz way. Three colourways arrived through in-person drops in London, New York and Paris, each with its own event, including a crossbar challenge in London where fans could win pairs before release.
