Nike SB Dunk High 'Color Skates Kebab and Destroy' (2021) pays tribute to New York-based skateboard retailer Color Skates, celebrating the shop's playful identity and deep roots within skateboarding culture. Released in 2021 as part of a collaborative collection with Nike SB, the sneaker draws inspiration from the tongue-in-cheek "Kebab and Destroy" slogan, blending streetwear aesthetics with references to late-night city life. Built on the classic Nike SB Dunk High silhouette, the design combines premium materials, skate-ready performance, and vibrant colour blocking, making it a standout collaboration that resonates with both sneaker collectors and skateboarders. The shoe reflects Nike SB's longstanding tradition of working closely with influential skate shops to create limited-edition releases that tell authentic local stories.
Overview
The Nike SB Dunk High 'Color Skates Kebab and Destroy' (2021) features a clean white leather base contrasted by rich golden-yellow suede overlays across the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and collar. Deep green leather Swooshes and matching collar accents provide bold contrast, while orange detailing on the tongue branding and outsole introduces additional visual energy. A padded mesh tongue and cushioned collar deliver the comfort and protection expected from Nike SB's skateboarding line, while the Zoom Air unit in the sockliner offers responsive impact cushioning for skating. The durable rubber cupsole is paired with a grippy gum rubber outsole, ensuring reliable board feel and traction. Exclusive "Kebab and Destroy" branding on the insole reinforces the collaboration's unique identity, giving the sneaker an unmistakable personality that balances skate functionality with collectible appeal. Authenticity is guaranteed with PUSHAS, where every pair is meticulously authenticated by our team of experts.
