The Nike PG 1 'Flip the Switch' (2026) represents the debut signature silhouette of NBA star Paul George with Nike Basketball, reintroduced through a striking “Flip the Switch” aesthetic that emphasizes bold contrast and high-visibility detailing. Originally designed to support Paul George’s versatile, two-way playing style, the PG 1 remains a performance-driven model that blends lightweight construction with responsive cushioning and lockdown stability. This edition refines that foundation with a visually dynamic execution that reflects the intensity and energy associated with elite-level competition.
Overview
Engineered by Nike Basketball designer Tony Hardman, the Nike PG 1 is recognised for its functional balance of speed, support, and court control, anchored by Zoom Air cushioning in both the forefoot and heel for responsive impact protection. The ‘Flip the Switch’ edition enhances the silhouette with a bold, high-contrast design language that aligns with Nike’s performance-led aesthetic approach, often associated with standout on-court presence and modern basketball culture. A secure midfoot strap reinforces stability during quick directional changes, while the low-profile build promotes agility and natural movement. Authenticity is guaranteed with PUSHAS, where every pair is meticulously authenticated by our team of experts.
