The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom Air CMFT 2 'Muslin Blackened Blue' (2023) continues Jordan Brand’s push into performance-lifestyle hybrids, merging the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette with modern comfort technology. This second iteration of the CMFT series refines the formula, enhancing cushioning and breathability without compromising the aesthetic legacy of the original 1985 design.
Overview
Crafted with a lightweight and deconstructed approach, the 'Muslin Blackened Blue' features a base in soft muslin suede that contrasts against bold Blackened Blue overlays for a muted yet refined palette. The cut-out Swooshes and exposed foam collars underscore the CMFT series’ experimental edge. Underfoot, the sneaker incorporates full-length Zoom Air cushioning encased in Formula 23 foam—a signature Jordan innovation—delivering improved responsiveness and all-day wearability. Perforated suede at the toe box and midfoot enhances ventilation, while the updated cupsole provides a more flexible feel compared to traditional AJ1 builds. Designed to cater to sneaker enthusiasts who prioritize both style and comfort, this release is a modern reimagining of a court classic with streetwise appeal.
Key Highlights
• Elevated Comfort Tech: Features Zoom Air cushioning and Formula 23 foam midsole for superior underfoot support and responsiveness.
• Refined Material Palette: Combines muslin suede and Blackened Blue overlays with exposed foam details for a deconstructed, premium look.
• Modernized Jordan 1 Design: Maintains the beloved high-top silhouette while incorporating breathable perforations and a flexible sole for everyday comfort.
