The Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Grape' (2006) is a legendary release from the Jordan Brand that marked a momentous return of a fan-favorite colorway, originally debuted in 1990. Known for its bold and vibrant combination of purples, greens, and whites, the 'Grape' colorway continues to captivate sneaker enthusiasts with its timeless appeal and significance within the Air Jordan lineage.
Overview
The Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Grape' (2006) is built upon the iconic silhouette of the Air Jordan 5, crafted with a premium white leather upper, highlighted by contrasting grape and emerald accents. The sneaker's midsole features a smooth blend of white and purple, while the signature translucent outsole adds a touch of modernity. The vibrant 'Grape' and 'Emerald' color scheme is reflected in the eye-catching accents on the tongue, collar, and lace toggles, paying homage to the original design. This colorway was meticulously reintroduced as part of Jordan Brand’s efforts to celebrate the rich history of the 1990s-era sneaker culture. The 'Grape' design remains an emblem of both style and comfort, offering both collectors and athletes a versatile piece for both casual wear and performance.
