The Nike Air Max 90 NRG 'Bacon' (2021) marks the celebrated return of one of the most sought-after Air Max colourways ever released. Originally introduced in 2004 as a collaboration with New York City sneaker boutique Dave's Quality Meat (DQM), the 'Bacon' quickly earned cult status for its distinctive palette inspired by the colours of bacon. After years of anticipation, Nike faithfully revived the iconic design in 2021, preserving the original's signature combination of premium materials and unmistakable colour blocking. As one of the defining releases in the Air Max lineage, the Nike Air Max 90 NRG 'Bacon' (2021) blends sneaker history with timeless style, making it a must-have for collectors and everyday enthusiasts alike.
Overview
Constructed with a premium mix of leather, suede, and mesh, the Nike Air Max 90 NRG 'Bacon' (2021) features soft pink leather mudguards, rich Sport Red suede overlays, and warm brown accents inspired by the original 2004 release. Cream mesh covers the toe box and collar, while subtle hits of red appear on the eyelets, tongue branding, heel badge, and visible Max Air unit, creating a balanced yet instantly recognisable aesthetic. Underfoot, the classic Air Max 90 sole unit delivers lightweight cushioning and all-day comfort, staying true to Tinker Hatfield's iconic 1990 design. The reissue remains remarkably faithful to the original collaboration, allowing a new generation of sneaker enthusiasts to experience one of Nike's most celebrated Air Max colourways. Authenticity is guaranteed with PUSHAS, where every pair is meticulously authenticated by our team of experts.
