The BAPE 1st Camo Shark Sweatpants 'Green' fuse streetwear legacy with BAPE’s unmistakable aesthetic, showcasing the brand’s most iconic motifs in a silhouette that’s equal parts bold and functional. Since its debut in the early 2000s, the Shark motif has become synonymous with A Bathing Ape (BAPE), evolving from a subcultural staple into a globally recognized symbol of premium streetwear. This green rendition of the Shark Sweatpants delivers a high-impact visual punch while staying rooted in utilitarian comfort and meticulous Japanese craftsmanship.
Overview
The BAPE 1st Camo Shark Sweatpants 'Green' feature the brand’s signature 1st Camo print, originally introduced in 1996, which draws from traditional military camouflage but reinterpreted through a distinctly BAPE lens. These sweatpants are cut from heavyweight 100% cotton fleece, ensuring both warmth and durability. The defining feature is the full-frontal Shark face graphic—complete with sharp teeth and bulging eyes—running from thigh to knee, split across both pant legs, and finished with a bold zipper fly. Ribbed cuffs and an elastic waistband with drawstring provide a snug yet adjustable fit, while subtle branding on the reverse pocket keeps the piece rooted in authenticity. Designed and produced in Japan, these sweatpants exemplify BAPE’s commitment to quality and visual impact.
Key Highlights
• Signature BAPE 1st Camo Print: Features the original green camo pattern first launched in 1996, exclusive to BAPE and revered in streetwear history.
• Iconic Shark Face Design: Showcases the full-zip shark graphic, split across both legs, solidifying its status as one of BAPE’s most recognizable visual trademarks.
• Premium Japanese Construction: Made from heavyweight 100% cotton fleece and crafted in Japan, offering exceptional build quality and durability.
