(WMNS) adidas Ozvenuz 'CNY' is adidas Originals’ standout Lunar New Year release for Spring/Summer 2026, blending festive symbolism with the brand’s bold streetwear-forward design ethos. Part of the broader Chinese New Year (CNY) collection that celebrates cultural heritage through limited‑edition footwear and apparel drops, this women’s sneaker transforms the contemporary Ozvenuz silhouette into a seasonal icon that resonates with both fashion enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Overview
Rooted in adidas’ Originals line, the Ozvenuz silhouette rethinks the classic dad‑shoe paradigm with exaggerated proportions, sculptural midsoles, and dynamic upper paneling that bridges sport and streetwear aesthetics. For 2026, the ‘CNY’ edition draws inspiration from Lunar New Year traditions, employing a refined palette anchored by clean white and cream tones accented with deep burgundy and subtle festive cues — a nod to traditional celebratory colors that symbolize good fortune and prosperity. The design retains the model’s signature wavy, “butterfly‑wing” midsole and chunky profile that visually elongate the wearer’s leg line, while tailored cushioning delivers Plush all‑day comfort.
Crafted for women, this special edition balances cultural homage with everyday versatility, ensuring the sneaker transitions effortlessly from seasonal celebrations to year‑round street style. The distinct CNY color story and thoughtful detailing make it a standout in adidas’ 2026 lineup and a sought‑after sneaker for those who value both heritage and contemporary flair.
Key Highlights

• Signature Ozvenuz Silhouette: Features the exaggerated, sculptural midsole and layered upper that define Ozvenuz’s unique blend of sport heritage and fashion‑forward style.
